IS A PRIVATE, NONPROFIT CORPORATION, LICENSED BY THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, TO PROVIDE ADULT DAY TRAINING AND HABILITATION SERVICES TO PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND RELATED CONDITIONS. PROWORKS SERVICES ARE BASED ON THE PREMISE THAT EVERY INDIVIDUAL POSSESSES AN INHERENT CAPACITY TO ACHIEVE SOME LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE. WE PROVIDE TRAINING AND CARE WHICH ENCOURAGES EACH INDIVIDUAL TO DEVELOP OR MAINTAIN THEIR ABILITIES.

MISSION:

SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES: TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THOSE WE SERVE BY PROVIDING KNOWLEDGEABLE SUPPORT STAFF, AN ATMOSPHERE FOR GROWTH, LEARNING AND SKILL ACQUISITION AND AN ATMOSPHERE FOR PERSONAL DREAMS TO BE FULFILLED.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO SERVE LITCHFIELD, THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY, AND THE USA. TO PROMOTE THE PRINCIPLES AND POLICIES SET FORTH BY THE NATIONAL AND DEPARTMENT CONSTITUTIONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION.

MISSION:

OUR OPERATION OF A COUNTY FAIR GIVES RURAL YOUTH AN OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS IN A RECEPTIVE SETTING. THE FAIR ALSO GIVES RURAL RESIDENTS IN GENERAL A VENUE TO MEASURE THEIR PROGRESS IN AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL ACTIVITIES AGAINST OTHER RESIDENTS. IT GIVES COUNTY RESIDENTS AND OTHERS A PLACE TO SEE AGRICULTURE AND RURAL LIVING AT ITS BEST. OUT COUNTY FAIR ALLOWED 277 4H YOUTH TO GAIN EVALUATION OF THEIR PROJECTS AND TO PARTCIPATE IN FRIENDLY COMPETITION. IT ALSO ALLOWED 24 FFA MEMBERS THIS OPPORTUNITY. IN OUR COMPETITIONS OPEN TO ALL AGES, MORE THAN 300 PARTICPATED. OUR FAIR WAS VISITED BY OVER 17,900 WHO CAME TO SEE THE EXHIBITS AND DISPLAYS.

The goal of this organization is to focus broadly on strengthening, unifying and building the economic, cultural, educational and social services of an urban community or neighborhood.

THE MEEKER COUNTY EMERGENCY FOOD SHELF IS A COOPERATIVE VENTURE OF COMMUNITY PARTNERS WORKING TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOOD FOR THOSE FACING FOOD INSECURITY. THE FOOD SHELF PROVIDES A 3-5 DAY SUPPLY OF FOOD TO THOSE FACING FOOD INSECURITY IN THE MEEKER COUNTY, MINNESOTA AREA.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in the game of golf. Coaching, access to a golf course, golf equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.
