The goal of this organization are the residential options exclusively for older adults who want to have a simpler, maintenance-free lifestyle and enjoy the company of peers with common interests, or who require a moderate amount of support in the activities of daily living to maintain independent living.

TO WORK FOR THE PREVENTION OF PRACTICES WITHIN THE INDUSTRY WHICH ARE CONTRARY TO SOUND PUBLIC POLICY. TO OPPOSE IMPROPER METHODS AND ILLEGITIMATE PRACTICES INIMICAL TO THE PROPER CONDUCT OF THE INDUSTRY. TO WORK TOWARD THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SOUND ADMINISTRATIVE AND REGULATORY STANDARDS AS A MATTER OF PUBLIC POLICY.

The goal of this organization is to operate facilities which house a collection of materials including books, manuscripts, journals, government documents and non-print formats such as paintings, musical recordings, videotapes, films and data files which are organized for access by a targeted population.
