TO PROVIDE HEALTH AND WELFARE BENEFITS TO ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS AND BENEFICIARIES REPRESENTED BY KALAMAZOO PLUMBERS, STEAMFITTERS, AND PIPEFITTERS LOCAL UNION NO. 357 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MULTI-EMPLOYER COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT.

THE FUND IS CREATED, ESTABLISHED, AND MAINTAINED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS AND/OR BENEFICIARIES WITH MEDICAL, SURGICAL, AND HOSPITAL CARE; BENEFITS IN THE EVENT OF SICKNESS, ACCIDENT, DISABILITY, DEATH, OR UNEMPLOYMENT; AND DENTAL, OPTICAL, AND PRESCRIPTION DRUG CARE; AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING REASONABLE COST OF ADMINISTRATION.

TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO THE MECHANISMS UNDERLYING THE DISEASE AND THERAPEUTIC STRATEGIES AIMED AT REDUCING THE BURDEN OF ILLNESS. TO ENGAGE AND ENLIST THE SUPPORT OF INSTITUTIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WHOSE ACTIVITIES IMPACT THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON'S AND RELATED DISORDERS.

THE OAKLAND COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY'S MISSION IS TO GROW OAKLAND COUNTY'S COMMUNITY OF ACTIVELY INVOLVED PHYSICIANS SERVED BY AN ORGANIZATION POSITIVELY IMPACTING THEIR WORK ENVIRONMENT TO IMPROVE THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE.
