MISSION:

SEEDMONEY HELPS DISADVANTAGED AND VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES TO GAIN ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOODS, ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE GARDENS AND WHOLESOME FORMS OF RECREATION. WE DO THIS BY PARTNERING WITH AND BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO A WIDE VARIETY OF SMALL, NONPROFIT CAUSES INTERESTED IN STARTING OR SUSTAINING A FOOD GARDEN PROJECT IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. OUR PARTNERS INCLUDE FOOD BANKS, SCHOOLS, HOMELESS SHELTERS, AND COMMUNITY GARDENS TO NAME BUT A FEW.

TO HELP PARENTS LEARN TO PUT THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN FIRST, AND TO MINIMIZE THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA OF THEIR SEPARATATION AND DIVORCE. SUPPORT GROUPS ARE ALSO HELD FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS SO THEY CAN SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES AND LEARN POSITIVE COPING SKILLS. THE CENTER ASSISTS FAMILIES THAT EXPERIENCE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ADDRESSES WAYS THEIR CHILDREN CAN BE CARED FOR IN A SAFE AND POSITIVE MANNER WHEN SEPARATION OR DIVORCE OCCURS. ADDITIONALLY, THE CENTER PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK WITH FAMILIES TO COLLABORATE AND RECEIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION TO FURTHER THE BELIEF THAT SEPARATION AND DIVORCE SHOULD OCCUR IN A NON-ADVERSARIAL MANNER, WHILE ADDRESSING THE CHILDREN'S NEEDS FIRST.

FIDDLEHEAD WAS CREATED TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF THE STUDENTS AND ADULTS IN SCARBOROUGH AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. SOME ACTIVITIES INCLUDE GENERAL ART, SCIENCE, MUSIC AND LANGUAGE CLASSES.

The goal of this organization are the organizations - like Toys for Tots - that provide, coordinate or raise money and donations for holiday assistance and gift distribution programs, usually but not exclusively organized around holidays.

The goal of this organization is to enable students who demonstrate financial need to obtain the financial assistance they require to meet their educational and living expenses while in school.
