AUDIO JOURNAL, INCORPORATED MISSION IN CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS IS TO CONNECT INDIVIDUALS WITH A VISUAL IMPAIRMENT, OR AN INABILITY TO ACCESS PRINTED MATERIAL, TO THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH BROADCASTING OF LOCAL NEWS, INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT WITH EXCLUSIVE PROGRAMS AND CONTENT.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES MEDICAL CARE AS WELL AS OTHER EXPENSES INVOLVING PREGNANT WOMEN, GIRLS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE HAVING FINANCIAL PROBLEMS REGARDING THEIR PREGNANCY INCLUDING RENT PAYMENTS, CHILD CARE AND COUNSELING.

MISSION:

TO ENCOURAGE THE HIGHEST ATTAINABLE LEVEL OF MENTAL HEALTH IN EVERY PERSON AND TO UTILIZE ALL POSSIBLE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO COMBAT DRUG DEPENDENCY THROUGH SHORT AND LONG TERM RESIDENTIAL AND DETOXIFICATION SERVICES.

TO DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT, MANAGE, OPERATE, ENHANCE AND PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE PEOPLE WITHIN THE DESIGNATED DOWNTOWN WORCESTER BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (THE DISTRICT), THROUGH ACTIVITIES, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO MARKETING, MAINTENANCE, SECURITY, PLANNING, AND PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE DISTRICT ALL BEING SUPPLEMENTAL TO THOSE PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF WORCESTER.

URBAN MISSIONARIES OF OUR LADY OF HOPE IS A COMMUNITY-BASED NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FORMED TO PROVIDE JOB PLACEMENT, EDUCATION AND GENERAL LIVING NECESSITIES FOR REGUFEES AND FAMILIES IN WORCESTER COUNTY, MASSACHUSETTS.

TO ACQUIRE, CONSTRUCT, REHABILITATE AND OPERATE 40 UNITS OF AFFORDABLE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING FOR ELDERLY PERSONS LOCATED IN NORTHBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS.

THE MISSION OF STONE SOUP IS TO BUILD GRASSROOTS POWER BY CONNECTING AND ENRICHING GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COMMUNITIES WHO ARE WORKING FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE IN WORCESTER, MA. WE ARE BUILDING COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIES BASED IN COOPERATION AND CREATIVITY WHILE RESISTING OPPRESSION AND GENTRIFICATION.

The goal of this organization is to operate associations for male and female students which are chapters of national or international organizations, have secret rites and restricted membership, and may undertake, as a part of their activities, community improvement or charitable projects.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE AND ENHANCING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO SPECIALLY TRAINED SERVICE DOGS AND EDUCATION TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS ON THE BENEFITS OF SERVICE ANIMALS.
