(A) TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO THE COMMUNITY IN SOUTHERN NEW ENGLANDREGARDING HUMANE AND SAFE ANIMAL SLAUGHTERING TECHNIQUES, PROCESSING OF MEAT, ANDRELATED MATTERS, INCLUDING VIA THE OPERATION OF A SLAUGHTERHOUSE INTENDED TO DEMONSTRATE SUCH TECHNIQUES.(B)TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AND INFORMATION TO THE COMMUNITY REGARDING ECONOMIC AND AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES.(C) TO CONDUCT PROGRAMS, WORKSHOPS AND OTHER FORUMS FOR TEACHING.(D) TO PRODUCE PUBLICATIONS AND MATERIALS TO FURTHER THE PROGRAMS AND EDUCATIONALCONCEPTS DESCRIBED ABOVE; AND(E) TO ENGAGE IN ANY ACTIVITIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING PERMISSIBLE TO A CORPORATION FORMED UNDER CHAPTER 180 OF THE MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS ANDDESCRIBED BY SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED

WORKING TOGETHER TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE WESTPORT RIVER WATERSHED NOW AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.

THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO BE A PRIVATE, FAMILY-ORIENTED, SEASONAL CLUB.

COMMUNITY RESIDENCE HOUSING AND SUPPORT TO 13 MENTALLY CHALLENGED AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED MEN AND WOMEN TO HELP THEM ACQUIRE SKILLS TO PARTICIPATE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.

THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO EDUCATE AND CONNECT THE RESIDENTS OF THE AREA TO THEIR HERITAGE THROUGH PUBLIC PROGRAMS, EXHIBITS, PUBLICATIONS AND RESEARCH AND TO COLLECT, PRESERVE AND DOCUMENT THE MATERIAL CULTURE OF WESTPORT, MASSACHUSETTS. THE ORGANIZATION OWNS AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION OF THE BELL SCHOOL HOUSE AND HANDY HOUSE LOCATED IN WESTPORT.

MISSION:

THE WESTPORT FAIR WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1955. THE PURPOSE OF THE FAIR WAS TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURE IN THE TOWN, AND TO SHOW PROJECTS THAT THE VOCATIONAL STUDENTS HAD COMPLETED. AS TIME WENT ON, IT BECAME THE SOCIAL EVENT OF THE SUMMER WITH MANY PEOPLE LOOKING FORWARD TO ITS ARRIVAL EACH YEAR. THERE IS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, A CARNIVAL, CRAFT TENT, GREAT FOOD, TRACTOR PULLS, AND MUCH, MUCH MORE.

PROVIDE FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY IN WESTPORT, MASSACHUSETTS.
