The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

WE ACQUIRE, PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN (1) AREAS FOR CONSERVATION OF PUBLIC RESOURCES AND FOR PRESERVATION OF WATERSHEDS, MARSHLAND, SWAMPS, AND OTHER WETLANDS, AND THE ANIMAL AND PLANT LIFE THEREIN, (2) SECTIONS OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE OR NATURAL BEAUTY (3) GREENBELTS AND SIMILAR OPEN SECTIONS (4) AREAS FOR OUTDOOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AND OTHER OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, AND FOR APPROPRIATE PUBLIC OUTDOOR RECREATION AND ENJOYMENT. TO DO SO WE ACQUIRE, HOLD, MAINTAIN, AND ENFORCE CONSERVATION AND PRESERVATION RESTRICTIONS, EASEMENTS, AND OTHER INTERESTS IN LAND, WATER AREAS AND STRUCTURES AS APPROPRIATE AND IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST. WE ACQUIRE INTERESTS/OWNERSHIP OF LAND THROUGH THE RECEIPT OF GIFTS, OR BY PURCHASING REAL PROPERTY. THE RLT ALSO GRATEFULLY ACCEPTS DONATIONS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TO FURTHER OUR MISSION.
