The goal of this organization are the residential facilities for older adults who are unable to function in an independent living environment because they need assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, medication, meals and housekeeping and other activities of daily living, but do not require nursing care on a regular basis.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FORM OF TUITION AID TO EFFECTIVE NON-PUBLIC SCHOOLS, UNIFORMS, AFTER-SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS, TUTORING AND MENTORING FOR THOSE HIGH-RISK, LOW-INCOME CHILDREN WHO HAVE A PARENT WITH A HISTORY OF INCARCERATION AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE.

NEW BEDFORD EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION HEALTH AND WELFARE FUND WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE DENTAL INSURANCE THRU PRE-TAX PREMIUM PAYMENTS FROM SCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE NEW BEDFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. BOTH ACTIVE AND RETIRED TEACHERS ARE ELIGIBLE.

PROVIDE SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AREAS OF LANGUAGE ACQUISITION, CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING, AND CAREER EDUCATION TO ACHIEVE PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND VOCATIONAL GOALS.

THE WOMENS FUND SOUTHCOAST INC. SUPPORTS AND SPONSORS SOCIAL CHANGE THAT ADVANCES ECONOMIC SECURITY AND FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS IN THE SOUTHCOAST OF MASSACHUSETTS.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES DAY CARE SERVICES FOR APPROXIMATELY 50 CHILDREN AFTER SCHOOL HOURS AND DURING THE SUMMER WHEN THEIR PARENTS ARE WORKING.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in baseball or softball. Coaching, access to a baseball field, baseball equipment, uniforms, and managers and umpires for games are generally included.

The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.
