THE PURPOSE OF THE CLUB IS TO ENCOURAGE YACHTING THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF GOOD FELLOWSHIP AMONG THOSE INTERESTED IN SAILING, SEAMANSHIP AND ENJOYMENT OF THE OCEAN AND ITS ENVIRONMENT.

SERVING THOSE IN NEED OF ALL AGE GROUPS. CREATE, DEVELOPE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS THAT DIRECTLY SUPPORT THOSE IN NEED.

THE COHASSET LOCAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION. LTD OPERATES FOR THE PRIMARY PURPOSE TO PROMOTE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS BY IDENTIFYING PROJECTS BEYOND THE SCOPE OF THE TRADITIONAL SCHOOL BUDGET AND BY SUPPORTING THOSE PROJECTS THROUGH A VARIETY OF FUNDRAISING EFFORTS.
