MISSION:

OUR MISSION IS TO RETURN CINEMA TO OUR COMMUNITY BY RE-CREATING THE CHATHAM THEATER, FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE ORPHEUM THEATER. THE ORPHEUM WAS RESTORED TO THE ICONIC AND HISTORIC MAIN STREET STRUCTURE WHICH HOUSED THE LOCAL MOVIE THEATER FROM 1915-1985 AS AN ART HOUSE CINEMA WHICH OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF FILMS, INCLUDING CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, INDEPENDENT FILMS, DOCUMENTARIES, FOREIGN FILMS AS WELL AS CONTEMPORARY AND CLASSIC FILMS, ALL CURRENTLY UNDER-REPRESENTED IN OUR COMMUNITY.

THE MISSION OF THE CHATHAM HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO INFORM AND EDUCATE PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS ABOUT THE HISTORY AND CULTURE OF CHATHAM AND VICINITY BY COLLECTING AND PRESERVING RECORDS OF EARLIER GENERATIONS AND BY EXHIBITING AND INTERPRETING ART, ARTIFACTS, ARCHIVES AND PLACES OF HISTORICAL INTEREST.

THE MISSION OF ATLANTIC WHITE SHARK CONSERVANCY IS TO SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, IMPROVE PUBLIC SAFETY, AND EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY, TO INSPIRE CONSERVATION OF ATLANTIC WHITE SHARKS.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO BE A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION OF THE CHELSEA JEWISH NURSING HOME, AND TO FURNISH, MAINTAIN AND/OR SUPPORT ACTIVITIES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE MORALE OF THE CHRONIC PATIENTS OF THE CHELSEA JEWISH NURSING HOME.

THE MISSION OF THE CHATHAM MARCONI MARITIME CENTER IS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN CHATHAM AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE PRESERVATION AND APPROPRIATE USE OF THE HISTORIC MARCONI SITE AND STEM EDUCATION.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, SOCIAL SERVICES, GUIDANCE AND MENTAL HEALTH COUNSEL PRIMARILY TO THE TOWN OF CHATHAM COMMUNITY. TO PROVIDE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE OPERATION OF A YOUTH AND DAY-CARE CENTER.

MISSION:

ESTABLISHED IN 1969, THE CREATIVE ARTS CENTER IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE TEACHING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS. OPEN ALL YEAR, THE CENTER OFFERS CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS IN DRAWING, PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, PRINTMAKING, POTTERY AND JEWELRY. IN ADDITION TO OFFERINGS BY ITS OWN OUTSTANDING TEACHING STAFF, THE CREATIVE ARTS CENTER ALSO SPONSORS WORKSHOPS BY SUCH NATIONALLY KNOWN ARTISTS AS LIBBY KYER, DON DEMERS, EDWARD MINCHIN, JOSEPH PAQUET, MEL STABIN, WILLIAM DAVIS AND MARY WHYTE.
