TO ADVANCE THE SCIENCES AND PRACTICES OF SURGERY OF THE FACIAL REGION AND CRANIOFACIAL SKELETON. THE SOCIETY ACCOMPLISHES ITS MISSION THROUGH THE EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, AND THROUGH ADVOCACY ON BEHALF OF PATIENTS AND PRACTITIONERS.

MISSION:

TO IMPROVE AND PROMOTE THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF CARE OF PATIENTS WITH NERVE DISORDERS THROUGH INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION, SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION, INNOVATION, AND EDUCATION.

MISSION:

THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS SOCIETY SHALL BE, A.) TO AID AND ENCOURAGE HIGH QUALITY AND EFFECTIVE POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION IN VASCULAR SURGERY IN THE NEW ENGLAND AREA, B.) TO ENHANCE THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS THROUGH REGULAR SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS AND, C.) TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISEASE.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES COUNSELING SERVICES TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND TO VETERANS WHO ARE IN DANGER OF BECOMING HOMELESS OR ARE HOMELESS.

The goal of this organization is to support and fund-raise for a single institution within the Voluntary Health Associations and Medical Disciplines major group area.

INSTRUCTION WAS PROVIDED IN AIKIDO, JUDO, KARATE, KENDO, AND ARNIS FOR APROX. 75 STUDENTS. CIRRICULUM INCLUDED SELF- DEFENSE, CONFLICT RESOLUTION THROUGH AVOIDANCE/DE-ESCALATION/APPLICATION OF MINIMUM EFFECTIVE FORCE, MARTIAL ARTS HISTORY/PHILOSOPHY, COMMUNITY AWARENESS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO DEVELOP MULTI-CULTURAL AWARENESS THROUGH INTEGRATED ARTS MODEL, INCLUDING MUSIC, DANCE, VISUAL ARTS TO BUILD SELF ESTEEM AND CREATIVE PROCESSES FOR MENTALLY ILL CHILDREN.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to administer centralized fundraising efforts and then in turn distribute the contributed funds to several nonprofit agencies. United Way and community chests or funds, the United Jewish Appeal and other religious appeals are examples of federated giving programs. (rev. 1/05)

LIBERTY LODGE UNDER THE GRAND LODGE OF MASSACHUSETTS MEETS ON A REGULAR BASIS TO CREATE GOODWILL IN THE LODGE AND GOOD DEEDS IN THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE. COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PROVIDING MEALS FOR THE HOMELESS AND CHARITY TO STUDENTS IN NEED.

Although public foundations may provide direct charitable services to the public as other nonprofits do, their primary focus is on grantmaking.

WE HIGHLIGHT THE TRUTH ABOUT ENERGY WHILE UNMASKING AGENDAS, EXPOSING HYPOCRISY, AND STRIVING TO REDUCE HYPERBOLE IN THE DEBATE ABOUT ENERGY. OUR WORK IS DEDICATED TO THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO "POWER THE FUTURE" THROUGH THEIR HARD WORK, SWEAT, AND GRIT. EVERY TIME WE TURN ON A LIGHT OR START UP OUR CAR, WHETHER CONSCIOUSLY OR NOT, WE ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THEIR LABOR AND SAYING THANK YOU.
