BY BEING SOLELY DEVOTED TO ASC ISSUES SIPMSC EFFECTUATES A NEW LEVEL OF INVOLVEMENT AND A SPECIFICITY THAT CREATES AN IMAGE OF INCREASED EXPERIENCE AND CREDIBILITY.

THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THIS SOCIETY IS FORMED IS TO FURTHER BY STUDY AND TEACHING THE KNOWLEDGE OF DISEASES OF THE EYE AND THE APPLICATION OF SUCH KNOWLEDGE TO THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF THESE DISEASES AND TO PROMOTE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CHRISTIAN MINISTRY OF HEALING IN THE CARE OF PATIENTS AND IN THE PHILOSOPHY AND CHARACTER OF OPHTHALMOLOGICAL PHYSICIANS.

THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SELLS DONATED CLOTHING TO GENERATE CASH TO FUND ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS FOR UTILITIES, RENT, MEDICINE, AND GROCERIES.
