WHILE THE COLLEGE SUSPENDED ALL OPERATIONS IN 2017 DUE TO FINANCIAL CHALLENGES, THE COLLEGE HAS RESUMED EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS IN EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS. THE MISSION THAT THE COLLEGE HAS FAITHFULLY UPHELD FOR OVER 100 YEARS OF PROVIDING AN EDUCATION THAT STRIVES TO PREPARE MEN AND WOMEN TO LEAD SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL LIVES CONSISTENT WITH THE GOSPEL VALUES CONTINUES TO BE AT THE CORE OF ALL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY TO APPROXIMATELY 8,500 MEMBERS ON A COOPERATIVE BASIS.

APPLESEED CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED TO SUPPORT THE CREATION, FACILITATION, AND ENHANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN IN AND AROUND JASPER COUNTY INDIANA FROM BIRTH THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. APPLESEED CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO NEW AND EXISTING PROGRAMS THAT SERVE YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES IN AREAS OF QUALITY CHILD CARE, INCLUDING DAYCARE, AFTER-SCHOOL CARE, AND EMERGENCY CARE, EARLY CHILDHOOD AND PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION, K-12 ACADEMIC SUPPORT AND ENRICHMENT, POST- SECONDARY PREPAREDNESS, AND YOUTH ENGAGEMENT IN LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS.
