THE GRANT COUNTY CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU IS A COMMUNITY ASSET RESPONSIBLE FOR PROMOTING GRANT COUNTY, INDIANA AS AN ATTRACTIVE TRAVEL DESTINATION AND ENHANCING ITS PUBLIC IMAGE AS A DYNAMIC PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY, WHICH STRENGTHENS THE COMMUNITY'S ECONOMIC POSITION AND VITALITY.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

MISSION:

FLINN PLACE, INC IS A 23-UNIT APARTMENT PROJECT FOR THE LOW-INCOME ELDERLY LOCATED IN MARION, INDIANA. THE ORGANIZATION IS OPERATED UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND REGULATED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF HUD.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

TO PARTNER WITH CHURCHES TO MAKE AN ETERNAL IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF KIDS BY PROVIDING INNOVATIVE TOOLS FOR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY THROUGH CURRICULUM, DIGITAL MEDIA, AND TEACHING AIDS.

THE MISSION OF THE QUILTERS HALL OF FAME IS TO CELEBRATE QUILTING AS AN ART FORM BY HONORING THE LIVES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WORLD OF QUILTING; BY THE RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE HOME OF QUILT DESIGNER MARIE D WEBSTER IN MARION INDIANA; BY PROMOTING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF QUILTING THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS,EXHIBITS, PUBLICATIONS, AND RESEARCH; AND BY COLLECTING, PRESERVING AND DOCUMENTING MATERIALS RELATED TO THE HONOREES OF THE QUILTERS HALL OF FAME.

TO PROVIDE SAFE, STRUCTURED, STABLE ENVIRONMENTS FOR MEN AND WOMEN RECOVERING FROM THE DISEASE OF ADDICTION.

THE HOUSE IS AN ARCHITECTURAL LANDMARK. PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE RESEARCH OF THE GEORGIAN REVIVAL ARCHITECTURE AND AFRICAN-AMERICAN ARCHITECT SAMUEL PLATO. PROVIDE CULTURAL EVENTS AND A LOCATION FOR CLUBS AND THE COMMUNITY.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]
