BENGALI ASSOCIATION OF GREATER CHICAGO IS AN ORGANIZATION OF THE PEOPLE OF ASIAN INDIAN ORIGIN, LIVING IN THE UNITED STATES WITH A COMMON PURPOSE TO PROMOTE AND SUSTAIN RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND LITERARY ACTIVITIES ON BEHALF OF BENGALI COMMUNITY

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that use a bulk of their resources to provide charitable services or run charitable programs of their own. PROVIDING FOOD, WATER, SEASONAL ITEMS, AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO THE HOMELESS AND EXTREMELY NEEDY PERSONS OF CHICAGOLAND.

The goal of this organization is to assist in the prevention or treatment of blindness and diseases or other conditions that affect the eyes. The associated medical specialty is ophthalmology.

MISSION:

PROVIDES AT RISK YOUTH WITH AN AFTER SCHOOL ATHLETIC PROGRAM FEATURING JIU JITSU IN COSTA RICA. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 150 KIDS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM OFFERS KIDS A SAFE ENVIRONMENT OUT OF THE HOME, THE CLASSES PROVIDE DISCIPLINE AND A GOOD SOCIAL OUTLET. THE PROGRAM RAISES FUNDS TO PROVIDE TRANING, A FACILITY AND TRANSPORTATION, SCHOOL SUPPLIES AS WELL AS A HUMAN SERVICES AS NEEDED DURING CRISIS SUCH AS HURRICANES.
