IDAHO ASSOCIATION OF HIGHWAY DISTRICT'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS, LEGISLATIVE LOBBYING, AND MEMBERSHIP/REPRESENTATION ON VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL COMMITTEES, RESEARCH, AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO MEMBERS.

THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF THE IDAHO NATIONAL GUARD MWR PROGRAM IS TO SUPPORT AND BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WHICH ARE BENEFICIAL TO MILITARY AND CIVILIAN PERSONNEL AT THE GOWEN FIELD MILITARY INSTALLATION.

IN 2022, IMSARU'S VOLUNTEER MEMBERS CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN 4,940 PERSON-HOURS RESPONDING TO 31 CALL-OUTS FROM PUBLIC AGENCIES. MEMBERS ALSO CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN 6,940 PERSON-HOURS OF TRAINING AT MORE THAN 60 TRAINING EVENTS CONDUCTED BY THE UNIT. ANOTHER IMPORTANT PART OF OUR MISSION IS WILDERNESS SAFETY EDUCATION. IMSARU CONDUCTED EIGHT SAFETY EDUCATION EVENTS FOR A TOTAL AUDIENCE OF 561.
