TO BENEFIT UNDERPRIVILEGED SCHOOL CHILDREN IN OUR SERVICE AREA OF COBB, CHEROKEE, PAULDING AND DOUGLAS COUNTIES OF GEORGIA, WITH PROGRAMS SUCH AS PAIRING PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS WITH ELEMENTARY CHILDREN FOR OUR ANNUAL COPS AND KIDS SHOPPING EVENT.

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO SUPPORT THE BAND PROGRAM AT POPE HIGH SCHOOL. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY SUPPORTING THE STUDENTS WITH RESPECT TO THE STUDY OF MUSIC, FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES, MANAGEMENT OF INCOME EXPENSES, PROVIDING ADULT SUPERVISION ASSISTANCE TO THE BAND DIRECTOR AS NEEDED.

GMDT STRIVES TO BE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTOR TO THE COMMUNITY VIA DIVERSE PERFORMANCES AND ENGAGING EXPERIENCES THAT CELEBRATE LIFE THROUGH THE POWER OF THE ARTS.
