The goal of this organization is to produce music not specifically covered by another category including marching bands, jazz groups, chamber music groups, blues, country music, ethnic music (e.g., Brazilian, Celtic, Afro-pop, etc.), folk music, rhythm and blues.

COLUMBUS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY CREATES PARTNERSHIPS TO CONSTRUCT AND SELL HOUSING FOR THOSE IN NEED BY BUILDING IN COMMUNITIES THAT WILL BE STRENGTHENED BY THESE VOLUNTEER EFFORTS AND TO RAISE AWARENESS OF CRITICAL HOUSING ISSUES.

THE COLUMBUS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (CSO) PRODUCES A VARIETY OF CONCERTS EACH YEAR, INCLUDING CLASSICAL MASTERWORKS, CONTEMPORARY POP FAVORITES, CHAMBER ORCHESTRA SELECTIONS, AND A SERIES OF EDUCATIONAL AND OUTREACH CONCERTS FOR LOCAL CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. IN ADDITION TO ARTISTIC PROGRAMMING, THE CSO REACHES OUT TO LOCAL STUDENTS AND CHILDREN THROUGH IN-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMMING.

STABILIZE NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGH ESTABLISHING FINANCING, EDUCATION, REHABILITATION OF EXISTING HOUSING AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW HOUSING

THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TO ADVOCATE FOR THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EXPANSION OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES OF COLUMBUS TECHNICAL COLLEGE BY MEANS OF VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP AND ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES, TO ASSUME FIDUCIARY CARE OF THE FOUNDATION'S ASSETS FOR THE LONG-TERM BENEFIT AND ENHANCEMENT OF COLUMBUS TECHNICAL COLLEGE, AND TO PROVIDE BROAD ADVICE, CONSULTATION AND SUPPORT TO THE PRESIDENT OF COLUMBUS TECHNICAL COLLEGE.

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF HOLDING TITLE TO PROPERTY, COLLECTING INCOME THEREFROM, AND TURNING OVER THE ENTIRE AMOUNT THEREOF, LESS EXPENSES, TO AN ORGANIZATION WHICH ITSELF IS EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED.

MISSION:

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES(RMHC)OF WEST GEORGIAS PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY HOUSING AND MEALS TO FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL OR INJURED CHILDREN CONFINED TO LOCAL HOSPITALS, AT REDUCED OR NO COST. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES A "FAMILY ROOM" AT PIEDMONT COLUMBUS REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOR FAMILIES WITH A PEDIATRIC PATIENT BEING TREATED WITHIN THE HOSPITAL.
