GENERALLY, THE CAREGIVER MOVES IN WHILE THE PATIENT IS IN THE HOSPITAL, AND THE PATIENT MOVES IN WHEN THEY ARE RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL. THEY RESIDE THERE UNTIL THE PATIENT IS RELEASED BY THE TRANSPLANT SURGEON TO GO HOME. AVERAGE STAY IS 2-3 MONTHS. PATIENTS HAVE RANGED IN AGE FROM 2 MONTHS TO 72 YEARS OLD. TRANSPLANTS HAVE INCLUDED HEART, LUNG, LIVER, KINDNEY, AS WELL AS BONE MARROW AND STEM CELLS. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH EMORY, WINSHIP, P
