PROVIDING HOUSING FOR ELDERLY AND DISABLED PERSONS BY OPERATING A HUD- ASSISTED APARTMENT COMMUNITY IN THOMASVILLE, GEORGIA REGULATED UNDER SECTION 223(F) OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND A USE AGREEMENT WITH HUD.

MISSION:

TO CREATE, PRESERVE, EXPAND, REHABILITATE, AND OTHERWISE ENHANCE THE AMOUNT OF DECENT HOUSING THAT IS AFFORDABLE TO VERY-LOW, LOW TO MODERATE INCOME, ELDERLY, DISABLED, AND HANDICAPPED PERSONS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.

THE ORGANIZATION IS A FLORIDA CHARTER SCHOOL AS AUTHORIZED BY FLORIDA STATUES. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES SPECIALIZED EDUCATION SERVICES TO CHILDREN WITH AUTISM. THE RENAISSANCE LEARNING CENTER (RLC) IS A NONPROFIT PALM BEACH COUNTY CHARTER SCHOOL, SERVING CHILDREN WITH AUTISM AGES 3 - 14. THE SCHOOLS CURRICULUM IS BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF UNIQUE NEEDS OF EACH STUDENT. THE GOAL FOR EVERY STUDENT IS TO MAXIMIZE THEIR POTENTIAL USING EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICES. RLC IS COMMITED TO PROVIDING A QUALITY EDUCATION TO ALL OUR STUDENTS AS WELL AS PROVIDING MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT TO OUR PARENTS. WE CURRENTLY OFFER A RICH EDUCATIONAL ENVIORMENT DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. IN ADDITION TO INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION IN THE CORE CURRICULUM AREAS OF LANGUAGE ARTS, MATH SCIENCE, AND SOCIAL STUDIES. AFTER SCHOOL THERAPY, ACTIVITY-BASED GROUPS, AND BEFORE AND CARE SERVICES ARE ALSO OFFERED TO OUR FAMILIES.

Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games.
