THE VETERANS ART CENTER TAMPA BAY, INC. (VACTB) IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MILITARY AND VETERANS THROUGH ART-RELATED PROGRAMS. AS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES TRANSITION TO CIVILIAN LIFE, VACTB IS SUPPORTIVE OF THEIR NEED FOR THERAPEUTIC OUTLETS AND VOCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS HELP THE PARTICIPANTS TO EXPLORE, DEVELOP AND SHARE THEIR ARTISTIC ABILITIES BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES AND VENUES. THE ORGANIZATION'S EXHIBITS OF VETERAN AND MILITARY ART SERVE TO HELP EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND GENERATE SUPPORT AND UNDERSTANDING FOR THE VETERAN'S EXPERIENCES AND NEED FOR RECOVERY.
