TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONALLY ORIENTED CLINICAL PRACTICE SETTINGS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (FIU) AND THE FIU HERBERT WERTHEIM COLLEGE OF MEDICINE (HWCOM) AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF FACULTY CLINICAL PRACTICE, MEDICAL EDUCATION, AND STUDENT CLINICAL SERVICES. ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PAYOR CONTRACTING, BILLING AND COLLECTIONS, CLINICAL CREDENTIALING, FINANCIAL REPORTING, AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES.

PROVIDE INCREASED ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES TO BLACK AND LATINX COMMUNTIES AND BRIDGE THE RACIAL WEALTH GAP THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP BY INCREASING BOTH THE PIPELINE OF DIVERSE ENTREPRENEURS AS WELL AS THE NUMBER OF HISTORICALLY EXCLUDED ENTREPRENEURS WHO SUCCEED AT RAISING NECESSARY STARTUP CAPITAL.
