FRANKLIN ACADEMY IS AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE PREPARATORY BOARDING SCHOOL, SERVING BRIGHT STUDENTS IN GRADES 8-12, AND PG. FRANKLIN CREATES A COMMUNITY-FOCUSED BOARDING AND DAY SCHOOL WHERE STUDENTS WITH UNIQUE LEARNING STYLES DEVELOP AND STRENGTHEN ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL COMPETENCIES VITAL TO THE PURSUIT OF COLLEGE GOALS, PROFESSIONAL ASPIRATIONS, AND FULFILLING LIVES.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PRESERVE LAND AS OPEN SPACE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT OPEN SPACE AND NATURAL SURROUNDINGS. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS INDIVIDUALLY AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS TO ACQUIRE LAND FOR PRESERVATION. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS EACH YEAR THAT SUPPORT THE MISSION.

PROVIDE CARE AND MANAGEMENT OF THE RIVER VIEW CEMETERY IN EAST HADDAM, CT, PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO OTHER CEMETERIES IN EAST HADDAM, CT AND PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES WHICH PRESERVE CEMETERY HISTORY.

1. PROMOTING THE STUDY OF AND INTEREST IN THE HISTORY OF THE TOWN OF EAST HADDAM AND THE LOWER CONNECTICUT RIVER VALLEY. 2. PERPETUATING THE NAMES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE ORIGINAL SETTLERS. 3. ACQUIRING, HOLDING AND PRESERVING ARTIFACTS, RELICS, BUILDINGS, AND RECORDS OF ALL KINDS RELATING TO LOCAL HISTORY.

RAY OF LIGHT IS A NON-PROFIT ANIMAL RESCUE, SANCTUARY AND ANIMAL-ASSISTED THERAPY CENTER COMMITTED TO HELPING PEOPLE MAKE A POSITIVE CONNECTION WITH LIFE THROUGH ANIMALS.
