THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME AND OTHER NEEDY INDIVIDUALS/HOUSEHOLDS IN THE CITY OF WOODLAND PARK AND THE SURROUNDING RURAL REGION OF COLORADO (REFERRED TO AS THE UPPER ARKANSAS VALLEY). THE ORGANIZATION SHALL ACCOMPLISH ITS CHARITABLE MISSION BY CONDUCTING ASSESSMENTS OF COMMUNITY NEEDS AND FEASIBILITY, AND BY PROVIDING PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCING FOR CHARITABLE LOW-INCOME HOUSING PROJECTS.

MISSION:

HELP THE NEEDY IS DEDICATED TO ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN TELLER COUNTY BY CONSISTENTLY OFFERING A HELPING HAND TO THOSE WHO REQUIRE ASSISTANCE DURING DIFFICULT TIMES. THESE DIFFICULTIES CAN BE CAUSED BY A GREAT VARIETY OF PROBLEMS INCLUDING LOSS OF JOB, TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS, MEDICAL PROBLEMS, OR FAMILY CRISIS. HELP THE NEEDY ALSO ADVOCATES FOR THE POOR AND AT-RISK AT ALL LEVELS. IN ESSENCE, WE OFFER A HELPING HAND TO KEEP FAMILIES FROM LOSING WHAT THEY HAVE.

The goal of this organization is to provide gas, electricity, water and sanitary services including the hook-up of services and the installation, maintenance and repair of necessary equipment.
