MISSION:

THE VAIL SYMPOSIUM IS A GRASSROOTS, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT HAS BEEN PART OF THE LIFE AND HISTORY OF VAIL SINCE 1971. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE VAIL VALLEY COMMUNITY THAT ARE THOUGHT-PROVOKING, DIVERSE, AND AFFORDABLE.

THE PRIMARY ACTIVITY IS TO RAISE AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS THROUGH THE USE OF MEMBER VOLUNTEERS IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL AND NATIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROMOTE THE IDEALS OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.

Included may be organizations that participate in air rescue, mountain rescue, sea rescue, ski rescue, traffic accident rescue and urban search and rescue operations.
