THE SUDDEN AND RAPID GLOBAL GROWTH OF SOCIAL MEDIA HAS CREATED NEW, SERIOUS DANGERS AND EXACERBATED EXISTING ONES, INCLUDING CYBERBULLYING, VIOLENCE, HARASSMENT, TRAFFICKING, DEMOCRACY TAMPERING, AND PRIVACY INVASION. THROUGH INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, PUBLIC ADVOCACY, AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT, SMS PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION FROM ALL THESE SOCIAL MEDIA-RELATED THREATS WHILE DETECTING AND RESPONDING TO NEW ONES AS THEY ARISE.
