VISTA CENTER ENABLES INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BLIND OR VISUALLY IMPAIRED TO ACHIEVE THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL THROUGH EVALUATION, COUNSELING, EDUCATION AND TRAINING WHICH PROMOTES INDEPENDENCE AND IMPROVES QUALITY OF LIFE.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION WAS ORGANIZED UNDER SECTION 236 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND CURRENTLY SERVES AS A GENERAL PARTNER IN COLORADO PARK LP, A LIMITED PARTNERSHIP WHICH OWNS AND OPERATES A LOW-INCOME HOUSING PROJECT.

MISSION:

PROVIDED 158 PEOPLE, OF LOW, VERY LOW AND EXTREMELY LOW INCOME, BELOW-MARKET HOUSING IN 120 STUDIO AND ONE BEDROOM UNITS AND SOCIAL AS WELL AS HEALTH ORIENTED ACTIVITIES TO THE RESIDENTS. PROVIDE HEALTHY NUTRIOUS HOT LUNCH 5 DAYS A WEEK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ANOTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

SPECIAL EDUCATION DAY SCHOOLS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, THERAPEUTIC, BEHAVIORAL, AND RELATED SERVICES FOR STUDENTS WITH SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL & BEHAVIORAL DIFFICULTIES FOR AGES 5 TO 22.
