TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL SCENERY OF MILL VALLEY AND THE SURROUNDING COUNTRY, TO BEAUTIFY THE GROUNDS AROUND PUBLIC BUILDINGS, TO WORK AGAINST THE WANTON DESTRUCTION OF BIRDS AND GAME, TO ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUTDOOR ART AND TO ENGAGE IN OTHER CIVIC, LITERARY AND CHARITABLE WORK.

THE MILL VALLEY TENNIS CLUB (MVTC) WAS FOUNDED IN 1929 AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB DEDICATED TO FRIENDLY, COMPETITIVE TENNIS PLAY. THROUGHOUT ITS HISTORY, THE CLUB HAS HOSTED PREMIER TENNIS COMPETITIONS AMONG TOP PLAYERS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND OTHER REGIONS. MVTC TEAMS COMPETE IN A WIDE RANGE OF INTER-CLUB LEAGUES AND EVENTS WITHIN MARIN, SONOMA, AND THE BAY AREA. THE CLUB HAS A RICH FAMILY TRADITION AND A STRONG SENSE OF COMMUNITY AMONG ITS MEMBERS.

MAINTAIN HOUSES AND LODGES AT MILL VALLEY, OAKLAND, SIERRA MADRE, NORDEN AND SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA FOR SOCIAL PROGRAMS, SKIING, HIKING AND MOUNTAINEERING, SERVING OVER 900 MEMBERS AND GUESTS.

THE BBS PROVIDES AID AND COMPASSIONATE RELIEF ASSISTANCE TO BRITISH NATIONALS LIVING OR RESIDING IN THE WESTERN STATES OF THE UNITED STATES (CA, NV, WA, OR, ID, AK, UT, WY, NM, AZ AND MT.). THE BBS RELIEF COMMITTEE, OVERSEEN BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, DETERMINES THE MOST IMPACTFUL ASSISTANCE FOR APPLICANTS WHO MAY BE FINANCIALLY DISTRESSED, SICK, DESTITUTE OR IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RETURN TO THE UK. THE BBS ALSO HAS A ROBUST EVENTS COMMITTEE HELPING TO PROMOTE THE CHARITY THROUGH COMMUNITY AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS.

TO BRING HUMANITY INTO ALIGNMENT WITH THE LIVING WORLD IN ORDER TO END THE CLIMATE CRISIS IN ONE GENERATION. IT IS A RESPONSE TO THE URGENCY OF THE CLIMATE CRISIS, A GROWING SET OF INTERLOCKING INITIATIVES THAT UNLOCK OUR COLLECTIVE AGENCY.
