TO DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION OF, AND PROVIDE EDUCATION TO MEMBERS OF THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION, INCLUDING RETIREES, BENEFICIARIES AND SURVIVORS, CONCERNING THE OPERATION OF COUNTY RETIREMENT SYSTEMS EXISTING UNDER THE COUNTY EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT LAW AS SET FORTH IN THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE, AND TO FOSTER AND TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE AS IT AFFECTS THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM.

MISSION:

MARTINEZ GUN CLUB IS A RECREATIONAL CLUB THAT OWNS AND MANAGES 33 ACRES FOR SHOTGUN SPORTS AND SHOOTING FACILITIES.

TO PROVIDE EXTENDED DAY CARE FOR CHILDREN WHO ATTEND KINDERGARTEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE AT FOUR SCHOOLS IN MARTINEZ, CALIFORNIA.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.
