DRAGONSPROUTS CHAMPION MANDARIN IMMERSION PROGRAMS SO CHILDREN CAN SPROUT INTO BILINGUAL, BILITERATE AND MULTICULTURAL GLOBAL CITIZENS.

The goal of this organization is to provide substitute parental care for children during some portion of a twenty-four hour day.

THRIVE IN JOY'S ON-CAMPUS C11 STRENGTH OF CHARACTER PROGRAM IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIES. THROUGH THE STUDENT-LED CLUB THRIVE IN JOY, C11 ENCOURAGES TEENS TO EXPLORE AND APPLY THEIR CHARACTER STRENGTHS, IDENTIFIED THROUGH THE VALUES IN ACTION SURVEY AND CLUB ACTIVITIES, TO CREATE ENTREPRENEURIAL SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS URGENT NEEDS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. ADDITIONALLY, WE ORGANIZE VOLUNTEER TRIPS TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC THREE TIMES A YEAR, AIMING TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THESE TRIPS ARE TAILORED TO DIFFERENT GROUPS: COLLEGE STUDENTS FROM USC IN MARCH, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN JUNE, AND A TRIP IN OCTOBER OPEN TO ALL VOLUNTEERS.

SUPPORT COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS RECOGNIZING THE HISTORY, HERITAGE AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF ASIAN AMERICANS

The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.

MISSION:

ROGUE MACHINE PRODUCES WORLD PREMIERE OF NEW PLAYS, PRIMARILY BY LOS ANGELES-BASED PLAYWRIGHTS, AND PLAYS NEW TO LOS ANGELES, INCLUDING AMERICAN, WEST COAST, AND REGIONAL PREMIERES OF SIGNIFICANT CONTEMPORARY THEATRICAL WORKS. ROGUE MACHINE ALSO CONSIDERS BUILDING AN AUDIENCE FOR THE FUTURE TO BE AN IMPORTANT PART OF ITS MISSION AND SEEKS TO ATTRACT AND SERVE A YOUNGER, MORE DIVERSE LOS ANGELES.

WILD UP IS AN ORCHESTRAL COLLECTIVE-A GROUP OF MUSICIANS COMMITTED TO CREATING VISCERAL, THOUGHT-PROVOKING HAPPENINGS. WE EXPERIMENT WITH NEW APPROACHES AND CONTEXTS TO INSPIRE AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITIES AROUND US. OUR PROGRAMS ARE ECLECTIC STUDIES OF PEOPLE, SOUND, AND IDEAS THAT EXPLORE HOW LISTENING CAN INCREASE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING.

WESTCHESTER LITTLE LEAGUE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE HEALTH, GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND TEAM WORK FOR THE YOUTH OF THE GREATER WESTCHESTER AREA.
