THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSN., INC., DBA ESO GIRLS SOFTBALL (ESO STANDS FOR ENCINO-SHERMAN OAKS) MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE, SAFE,INSTRUCTIONAL AND COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE GIRLS TO LEARN THE GAME OF SOFTBALL, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND TEAMWORK, WHILE INTERACTING WITH THEIR PEERS AND GAINING NEW FRIENDS. IT STRIVES TO TEACH SKILLS THAT WILL NOT ONLY HELP THE PARTICIPANTS IN FURTHERING THEIR SOFTBALL CAREERS, BUT TO HELP SERVE THEM OFF THE FIELD AS WELL.
