THE FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO HELP SUBSIDIZE PROGRAMS AND OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AT PLACER HIGH SCHOOL. THE FOUNDATION'S FOCUS IS ON PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONALLY RICH ENVIRONMENT TO ENABLE THE STUDENTS TO GET THE FULL BENEFITS OF ATTENDING PLACER HIGH SCHOOL.

The goal of this organization is to provide or coordinate a wide variety of programs and services that meet the needs and interests of the senior population. Also included are organizations that administer funding for senior services under Title III of the Older Americans Act.

TO ADVANCE THE SCIENCE, EDUCATION, TECHNOLOGY, AND PRACTICE OF FORESTRY AND TO USE THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CONSERVATION ETHIC OF THE PROFESSION TO ENSURE THE CONTINUED HEALTH AND USE OF FOREST ECOSYSTEMS, AND THE PRESENT AND FUTURE AVAILABILITY OF FORESTRY RESOURCES TO BENEFIT SOCIETY.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE HOUSING BY CONSTRUCTION, REHABILITATING AND PROVIDING DECENT, SAFE, SANITARY HOUSING IN CALIFORNIA FOR PERSONS AND FAMILIES OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FIND OR AFFORD A SUITABLE PLACE TO LIVE; TO HELP RELIEVE THE POOR, DISTRESSED, UNDERPRIVILEGED AND INDIGENT BY ENABLING THEM TO SECURE THE BASIC NEEDS OF DECENT SHELTER AND THUS LESSEN THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT AND PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE; AND TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE GENERAL SERVICES TO TENANTS IN THE HOUSING PROJECTS IT OWNS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, CHILD CARE, RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, COUNSELING, TRAINING IN THE USE OF COMPUTERS, JOB TRAINING AND JOB REFERRALS.

The goal of this organization is to provide supportive services for crime victims which may include crisis counseling, medical services, escort services, transportation, child care, financial assistance, protective services, information about the mechanics of court proceedings, assistance with forms to file for reimbursement of crime-related expenses or losses, and/or advice and guidance concerning court appearances.

THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE GOLD COUNTRY FAIR LOCATED IN AUBURN, CA BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS THAT HELP THE COMMUNITY DEVELOP AN APPRECIATION FOR AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES THAT INCREASES AWARENESS OF BOTH LOCAL AND NATIONAL HISTORY AND TO PROVIDE CULTURAL ENRICHMENT THROUGH ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT. THE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO PROJECTS BENEFITTING THE GOLD COUNTRY FAIR AND THE 20TH DISTRICT AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION IN IMPROVING ITS FACILITIES IN THE BELIEF THAT THE FAIRGROUNDS IS AN INVALUABLE ASSET TO THE COMMUNITY AND THAT A VIABLE FAIR ASSOCIATION ENABLES LOCAL CIVIC GROUPS AND THE AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY TO ENJOY THESE BENEFITS OF THE FOUNDATION'S SUPPORT.

TO PROMOTE TOURISM ON THE WESTERN SLOPE OF PLACER COUNTY AND TO OPERATE A CALIFORNIA WELCOME CENTER.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in soccer. Coaching, access to a soccer field, soccer equipment, uniforms, and officials for competitions are generally included.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE SERVICES THAT STRENGTHEN OUR MEMBERS; TO ADVOCATE POLICIES THAT IMPROVE THE BUSINESS CLIMATE; TO PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE AUBURN AREA; AND TO DEVELOP COALITIONS WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD A BETTER COMMUNITY. THE CHAMBER WILL ADVOCATE FOR THESE PRINCIPLES THROUGH DEVELOPING AND SUPPORTING SPECIFIC PROPOSALS FOR GOVERNMENT ACTIONS, AND OPPOSING LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY EFFORTS THAT DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PRINCIPLES.

The funds available to a community foundation are usually derived from many donors and held in an endowment that is independently administered; income earned by the endowment is then used to make grants.

The goal of this organization are the volunteer and other organizations that provide emergency rescue operations and/or lifesaving activities for people who are stranded, lost, accident victims, or exposed to other life-threatening dangers. Included may be organizations that participate in air rescue, mountain rescue, sea rescue, ski rescue, traffic accident rescue and urban search and rescue operations.
