THE MISSION AT DESERT FOOTHILLS ATHLETIC CLUB IS TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND FITNESS THROUGH EXCELLENCE IN YOUTH SPORTS BASED ON SKILL, SPORTSMANSHIP, VALUES AND PLAYER CHARACTER. THE PROGRAMS PROVIDE A SAFE, FAMILY ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT FOR NATURAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT AND PREPARE PLAYERS TO EXCEL DURING COMPETITION, TRAINING AND IN EVERYDAY LIFE EXPERIENCES.

THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROMOTES THE FORMATION OF YOUTH ASSOCIATIONS AND PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN TO LEARN FIRST-HAND ABOUT THE PROPER TREATMENT OF THE AMERICAN SADDLEBRED BREED. THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE BREED BY HOSTING TWO BREED PROMOTION EVENTS PER YEAR THAT ARE INDEPENDENT OF THE HORSE SHOWS.
