THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT AND ENHANCES THE ACTIVITIES OF JEFFERSON STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT THROUGH STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND COLLEGE-COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE PRESERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF CRITICAL NATURAL RESOURCES THROUGHOUT THE SOUTHEASTERN USA.

OUR ORGANIZATION IS COMPRISED OF MEMBERS WHO PAY DUES VIA PAYROLL DEDUCTION. MEMBERS CONTROL ALL MATTERS CONCERNING THE ORGANIZATION. MEMBERS ELECT OFFICERS AND TRUSTEES THAT ADMINISTER THE BRANCH. BYLAWS CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC UPON REQUEST. OFFICERS' COMPENSATION IS SET BY BYLAWS AND APPROVED BY MEMBERS. COMPENSATION INCLUDES PAYMENT AS DUTIES AS SHOP STEWARD IF APPLICABLE AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR LOST TIME TO PERFORM UNION DUTIES OFF THE USPS CLOCK

OUR MISSON IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT THAT WILL ENHANCE THE LIVES OF OUR STUDENT ATHLETES IN THE BUILDING OF CHARACTER, INTEGRITY, AND THE PROMOTION OF BOTH MIND AND BODY THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS.
