THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTEVALLO FOUNDATION IS AN INDEPENDENT, SELF-GOVERNED, PRIVATE CORPORATION. ITS PURPOSE IS TO SOLICIT, RECEIVE, DEVELOP, MANAGE AND DISBURSE FINANCIAL GIFTS AND OTHER RESOURCES, AND TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL, DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS AND EXPERIENCES FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTEVALLO.

SERVES AS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION WHOSE MISSION IS TO STRENGTHEN ANDRENEW THE FOUNDATIONS OF AMERICAN LIBERTY AND SELF-GOVERNMENT BY ENGAGINGAND INSPIRING CITIZENS AND LEADERS, WITH A SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON PROGRAMS FORYOUNG PEOPLE.

MISSION:

TO ASSIST THE PRESBYTERY OF SHEPPARDS AND LAPSLEY IN ACCOMPLISHING THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH IT WAS FORMED AND TO ACQUIRE, CONSTRUCT, EQUIP AND OPERATE A CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER FOR THE SAID PRESBYTERY, ALONG THE CAHABA RIVER IN SHELBY AND BIBB COUNTIES, ALABAMA.

The goal of this organization is to seek to ensure the broad participation of community residents in government decision making and the political process.

PROVIDE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN SHELBY COUNTY, ALABAMA. THIS INCLUDES FOOD, MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES, UTILITIES, HOUSING, CASE MANAGEMENT, ADVOCACY, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL, ETC.
