THE DRAGON TOUCHDOWN CLUB STRIVES TO STRENGTHEN THE SENSE OF COMMUNITY AMONGST ALL STAKEHOLDERS IN DRAGON FOOTBALL AND PROVIDES A PLATFORM THROUGH WHICH THE GAME CONTINUES TO BE SEEN AS A CENTRAL ELEMENT OF THE UNIQUE SOUTHLAKE CULTURE.

NON-PROFIT, ALL GIRLS SELECT SOCCER CLUB. ORGANIZED FOR THE EDUCATION, BENEFIT, AND ENJOYMENT OF ITS MEMBERS AND TO ENCOURAGE FAMILYAND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN YOUTH SOCCER AND DEVELOPMENT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in baseball or softball. Coaching, access to a baseball field, baseball equipment, uniforms, and managers and umpires for games are generally included.

MISSION:

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ANNUAL BIRDING FESTIVALS AND FIELDTRIPS TO FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES REGARDING THE NATIVE AND MIGRATORY BIRD POPULATION OF THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND KEYNOTE LECTURES BY BIRDING EXPERTS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES MANY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS GEARED TOWARD CHILDREN.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL THE OBJECTIVE OF ARLINGTON SOUTHWEST LITTLE LEAGUE IS TO IMPLANT FIRMLY IN THE CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY THE IDEALS OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, LOYALTY, COURAGE AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY, SO THAT THEY MAY BE WELL

TO PROVIDE A PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO PLAY BASEBALL IN AN AGE APPROPRIATE LEAGUE. APPROXIMATELY 300 CHILDREN PARTICIPATED.

THE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE WAXAHACHIE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT BAND PROGRAMS FROM PRIMARY THROUGH SECONDARY SCHOOLS. SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE FUND RAISING, INSTRUCTION ASSISTANCE VOLUNTEER SERVICE.
