OUR MISSION IS TO BUILD ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMIC JUSTICE AND IMPROVE HEALTH IN LOW INCOME COMMUNITIES BY ORGANIZING, EDUCATING, CHANGING POLICIES AND BUILDING JUST AND EQUITABLE PROGRAMS.

MISSION:

THE MAKERS COLLECTIVE SEEKS TO CONNECT GREENVILLE TO THE NATIONAL MODERN CRAFT MOVEMENT, ENCOURAGE A RENEWED INTEREST IN HANDMADE GOODS AND PROVIDE EXPOSURE FOR BOTH EXPERIENCED AND EMERGING ARTISTS. THESE GOALS ARE PRIMARILY ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT BRINGS SOME OF THE BEST ARTISTS IN THE SOUTHEAST TOGETHER UNDER ONE ROOF.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

MISSION:

THE SOUTHEASTERN GREEK LEADERSHIP ASSOCIATION (SGLA) IS A VOLUNTARY ASSOCIATION OF FRATERNITY AND SORORITY GOVERNING COUNCILS LOCATED AT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES IN THE UNITED STATES. SGLA PROMOTES A POSITIVE LIVING AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS AMONG INDIVIDUAL FRATERNITY AND SORORITY CHAPTERS AND THEIR GOVERNING COUNCILS CREATING AN EXCHANGE OF IDEAS, PROGRAMS, AND CONCEPTS THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SERVICE-ORIENTED PROGRAMS. SGLA SEEKS TO EXPAND PROGRAMS TO MEET THE CULTURALLY, EDUCATIONALLY, AND PROGRAMATICALLY DIVERSE INSTITUTIONS REPRESENTED IN MEMBERSHIP.

TO PROMOTE LOCAL BUSINESSES, COMMERCE AND THE LITTLE RIVER, SC AREA THROUGH MEMBER SERVICES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION OF TOURISM, FESTIVALS, AND OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS BY PROACTIVE LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

PROVIDE SEMINARS, CONVENTIONS, AND SCHOOLS TO EDUCATE SC SUMMARY COURT JUDGES AND SUPPORT STAFF IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING REQUIRED CLE.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION REGARDING THE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS OF PRESCRIPTION DRUG MARKETING AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF PRESCRIPTION DRUG SAMPLES, FOR INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE DRUG INDUSTRY.

THE LEAGUE'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL WELFARE BY SUPPORTING VARIOUS CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND PROJECTS. FUNDS FOR THESE PURPOSES ARE RAISED THROUGH THE OPERATION OF A SNACK/GIFT SHOP AT PRISMA HEALTH TUOMEY.
