INSTITUTO PSICOPEDAGGICO DE PUERTO RICO (THE CORPORATION) IS A NONPROFIT ENTITY ORGANIZED WHOSE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES IS TO RECOGNIZE AND DEVELOP THE POTENTIAL OF INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL DISABILITIES AND HELP IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT THROUGH TREATMENT, TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED EDUCATION.

MISSION:

THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE IS TO FACILITATE HEALTH TREATMENT, EDUCATION, AND PREVENTION SERVICES TO SOCIALLY MARGINAL SECTORS SUCH AS HOMELESS, DRUG ADDICT, SEX-WORKER, AND PATIENT EXPOSED TO RISK.

MISSION:

PROVIDE HOME FOR CHILDREN FROM 10 MONTHS OLD TO SEVEN YEARS OLD. PROVIVE ALL THE NECESARY HOUSING, FOOD AND CLOTHING, TAKING THEM TO SCHOOL AND DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS AND ANY REQUIRED THERAPY.

PROVIDE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO HOMELESS WOMEN WHO ARE SUBSTANCE ABUSERS AND HIV-AIDS
