ENGAGED IN THE MANAGEMENT, PRESERVATION AND EDUCATION OF THE SAN JUAN BAY ESTUARY AS PART OF THE NATIONAL ESTUARY PROGRAMS CREATED BY THE CLEAN WATER ACT 1987

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

THE PRESERVATION AND CONSERVATION OF HISTORIC ARTIFACTS AND HISTORIC SITES, BUILDINGS, LAND AND WILDLIFE RESERVES AND OTHER RESOURCES WITHIN AND SORROUNDING THE ISLAND OF VIEQUES, PR, FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.

BORINCANA FOUNDATION WILL PROVIDE CERTAIN CONSULTING SERVICE TO OTHER NON-FOR-PROFIT OR FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT AND VENTURE WITH LOCAL SOLAR STORAGE COMPANIES, MICROGRID PROVIDERS, INVESTOR, LENDERS TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS, AND OTHERS, TO IMPLEMENT ACCELERATED PROGRAMMATIC APPROACHES TO MARKETING, FINANCING, AND EXECUTION OF DISTRIBUTED GENERATION AND STORAGE FOR INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS. ALSO, THE FOUNDATION WILL ACT AS AN ADVISOR AND GRANT RECIPIENT/ ADMINISTRATOR TO SUPPORT FEDERAL AND LOCAL EFFORT FOR REVITALIZATION AND TRANSFORMATION OF PUERTO RICO.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO REPOPULATE CORAL IN THE OCEAN AROUND PUERTO RICO. THE PRIMARY ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO GROW CORAL (KNOWN AS 'CORAL RECRUITS') IN A LAND-BASED CORAL NURSERY. THE ORGANIZATION WILL GROW THE CORAL RECRUITS IN TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED TANKS. WHEN THE CORAL RECRUITS ARE MATURE, THEY WILL BE OUTPLANTED INTO THE OCEAN.

PROVIDE MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS AND RESTORED THE PUBLIC AREAS AS BEACHES IN AGUADILLA, PUERTO RICO, INCLUDING LIGHTHOUSE RUINS, MAKING THE AREAS SECURE & ACCESSIBLE.
