IS A MEMBER OF VINCENTIAN COLLABORATIVE SYSTEM, A CATHOLIC HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES ORGANIZATION HEADQUARTERED IN THE NORTH HILLS OF PITTSBURGH THAT OFFERS A CONTINUUM OF HIGHLY-RATED SENIOR CARE SERVICES AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS ACROSS ALLEGHENY COUNTY, INCLUDING INDEPENDENT LIVING, SKILLED NURSING, SHORT TERM REHABILITATION, LONG TERM CARE, PERSONAL CARE AND MEMORY CARE. THE VINCENTIAN SYSTEM IS COMPRISED OF VINCENTIAN HOME AND VINCENTIAN REGENCY IN THE NORTH HILLS, MARIAN MANOR IN THE SOUTH HILLS AND VINCENTIAN DE MARILLAC IN THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH. ADDITIONALLY THE SYSTEM INCLUDES THREE OUTPATIENT REHABILITATION LOCATIONS, TWO CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTERS AND A CHARITABLE FOUNDATION. EACH YEAR, THE VINCENTIAN SYSTEM COLLECTIVELY CONTRIBUTES TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING MORE THAN $11.4 MILLION IN BENEVOLENT CARE, SERVING SOME 1,700 SENIORS, 182 CHILDREN AND PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY JOBS TO MORE THAN 900 PEOPLE.

DUE TO THE PANDAMIC CAUSED BY COVID-19 AND THE SHELTER IN PLACE ORDERS FROM THE PA GOVERNOR, FEWER INDIVIDUALS REQUESTED THIS FREE SERVICE AND AS A CONSEQUENCE THE ORGANIZATION CEASED OPERATIONS IN 2022. THE FACILITY AND ALL EQUIPMENT WAS SOLD IN 2022 . THE NET FUNDS REMAINING AFTER THE MORTGAGE PAYOFF WERE EARMARKED FOR CHARITY. THAT CONTRIBUTION OF THE NET FUNDS TO CHARITY OCCURRED IN 2023.

THE DIABETES MEDIA FOUNDATION ("DMF") IS A NON-PROFIT MEDIA ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO INFORMING, EDUCATING, AND GENERATING COMMUNITY AROUND LIVING A HEALTHY LIFE WITH DIABETES. AS ITS PRIMARY ACTIVITY, DMF PUBLISHES ASWEETLIFE ("ASL"), AN ONLINE DIABETES MAGAZINE.
