MISSION:

LAKE OSWEGO YOUTH TRAVELING BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (LOYTBA) WAS FORMED IN 1995 IN AN EFFORT TO PROVIDE COMPETITIVE BASKETBALL PROGRAMS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS IN GRADES 5-8 FEEDING INTO LAKERIDGE AND LAKE OSWEGO HIGH SCHOOLS. 4TH GRADERS WERE ADDED TO THE PROGRAM IN 2013.IN THE 2021-2022 SEASON THE PROGRAM CONSISTED OF 23 TEAMS AND AND APPROXIMATELY 230 PLAYERS. LAKER YOUTH BASKETBALL IS A PART OF THE LAKE OSWEGO YOUTH TRAVELING BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (LOYTBA).

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

OUR ORGANIZATION RAISES FUNDS WHICH WE IN TURN DISTRIBUTE TO OTHER NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN NEED OF FUNDING. OUR ORGANIZATION HAS AN ANNUAL BANQUET, AUCTION AND RAFFLE WHICH IS OUR ONLY FUND RAISER. OUR ORGANIZATION HAS NO PAID STAFF AND VERY LIMITED OVERHEAD COSTS.

PORTLAND ULTIMATES MISSION IS TO FOSTER GROWTH IN THE SPORT OF ULTIMATE FRISBEE THROUGH YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND ADULT ACTIVITIES IN PORTLAND METRO AREA, TO INSTILL THE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP AT ALL LEVELS OF PLAY AND TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE COMMUN
