THE UNIVERSITY OF TASMANIA FOUNDATION USA HAS BEEN CREATED TO RAISE FUNDS IN THE US TO SUPPORT, PROMOTE, AND OTHERWISE ENCOURAGE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION IN THE US AND AUSTRALIA BY MAKING GRANTS TO EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS IN THE US AND AUSTRALIA.

TO PROVIDE A JEWISH HOME BASED EDUCATION CENTER FOR CHILDREN IN PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

THE BARUCH COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND ITS MEMBERS HAVE BEEN PARTNERS IN SUPPORTING THE GOALS OF THE STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND ALUMNI AT BARUCH COLLEGE SINCE 1969. MEMBERSHIP IN THE BARUCH COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION INCLUDES ACCESS TO A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS, SOCIAL EVENTS AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES. MEMBERSHIP DUES SUPPORT A WIDE RANGE OF IMPORTANT FUNDING INITIATIVES THAT SUPPORT THE BARUCH COMMUNITY.

THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITY OF TEACHERS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO INCORPORATING THEMES OF SOCIAL JUSTICE INTO THEIR CURRICULUM AND BY ENGAGING YOUTH AND THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THEY LIVE, IN CIVIC PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS LARGER SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES.
