THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO SOLICIT FUNDS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, WHO ARE AFFLICTED WITH RARE AND CHRONIC DISEASES, TO ASSURE THE MEDICALLY RECOMMENDED STANDARDS OF CARE FOR THEIR DISEASES ARE PROVIDED, AND TO DEVELOP ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS PROVIDING FOR THE SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL NEEDS OF THESE PEOPLE TO ALLOW THEM TO HAVE AN ACCEPTABLE QUALITY OF LIFE.
