THE LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL REUNIONS WERE HELD DURING THE THREE DAY EVENT, AND MANY CRAFT AND FOOD VENDORS ALSO PARTICIPATED. IT FUNCTIONED AS A MAIN DRAW FOR TOURISM AND SPENDING IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA. THE CITY SUSPENDED ITS SUPPORT OF THIS PROGRAM SEVERAL YEARS AGO CITING INCREASED COSTS AND LAGGING ATTENDANCE. THIS ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO REVITALIZE THE EVENT.IN 2019, THE INAGURAL YEAR, THE EVENT WAS A ONE DAY PROGRAM, BUT IN FUTURE YEARS THE POTENTIAL EXISTS TO EXPAND IT BACK TO THE LONG WEEKEND.
