REPRESENT PLANNING INTERESTS IN INDIANA, PROMOTE PUBLIC INTEREST IN PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF INDIANA'S RESOURCES; RECOMMEND AND SUPPORT SOUND LEGISLATION RELATED TO PLANNING; ASSIST MEMBERS IN IMPROVING THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF PLANNING (EDUCATION); PROVIDE A STATEWIDE NETWORK OF SUPPORT FOR PLANNERS; FACILITATE THE INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION OF IPA MEMBERS OF THE AMERICAN PLANNING ASSOCIATION IN THE NATIONAL AFFAIRS OF THAT ORGANIZATION; ENCOURAGE MEMBERSHIP IN THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED PLANNERS

THE LODGE UNITES ITS MEMBERS JIN THE BONDS OF FRATERNITY BENEVOLENCE AND CHARITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH A YEAR-ROUND SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES AND GUESTS, BENEFITING THOSE AND ALSO CHARITABLE CAUSES
