TO PROMOTE THE INTEREST OF THE MEDICAL STAFF OF BLAKE MEDICAL CENTER THROUGH THE ADVANCEMENT OF IDEAS AND EDUCATION OF ITS MEMBERS TO PROMOTE THE DELIVERY OF EFFECTIVE MEDICAL CARE. TO ESTABLISH, DEVELOP, SPONSOR, PROMOTE AND/OR CONDUCT EDUCATION PROGRAMS, SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, MEDICAL FACILITIES AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

The goal of this organization is to provide services for the mutual aid and benefit of their members; that ordinarily have a lodge system whereby activities are carried out under a form of organization that comprises local branches, chartered by a parent organization and largely self-governing, and that make provision for the payment of death benefits, and for benefits in case of accident, sickness, or old age. AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF CBI'S VALUES IS ITS GOAL OF KEEPING THEIR BURIAL FEES AS AFFORDABLE AS POSSIBLE. BY DOING THIS, CBI HELPS PEOPLE AND THE PLANET BY MAKING WHAT ARGUABLY IS THE MOST ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CHOICE OF BODY DISPOSITION, AN AFFORDABLE OPTION TO AS MANY FOLKS AS POSSIBLE.

MISSION:

PROVIDES SHORT-TERM EMERGENCY LOANS, PROJECT SUPPORT ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEE MEMBERS, AND PROVIDES DEATH BENEFIT PAYMENTS TO FAMILIES OF EMPLOYEE MEMBERS. 952 MEMBERS WERE ELIGIBLE FOR SHORT TERM EMERGENCY LOANS AND PROJECT SUPPORT ASSISTANCE. IN TOTAL, FIFTEEN LOANS AND PROJECT SUPPORT ASSISTANCE FUNDS WERE EXTENDED FOR AMOUNTS RANGING FROM $1,000 TO $5,000.
