JANE DOE NO MORE IS A NATIONAL NONPROFIT WORKING TO IMPROVE THE WAY SOCIETY RESPONDS TO VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT. WE DO SO THROUGH EDUCATION, AWARENESS, ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT. OUR EDUCATION INIATIVES INCLUDE PROGRAMS AND CLASSES SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR A)SEXUAL ASSAULT SURVIVORS, B)POLICE OFFICERS AND OTHER FIRST RESPONDERS, C)COLLEGE STUDENTS,AND D)THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. WE RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE CRIME OF RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT THROUGH A FULL SCHEDULE OF SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, APPEARANCES IN THE MEDIA, INCLUDING TELEVISION AND RADIO, OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS, AND THROUGH OUR WEBSITE (WWW.JANEDONOMORE.ORG). WE PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY OFFERING INFORMATION, RESOURCES, AND REFERRALS FROM A TRAINED INTERVENTION COUNCELOR, AND THROUGH OUR PROGRAM FOR SURVIVORS.

MISSION:

TO RAISE THE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF CHILD ABUSE, TO RAISE FUNDS TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF CHILD ABUSE, TO DISSEMINATE FUNDS TO LOCAL 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED TO AIDING THOSE SUFFERING THE EFFECTS OF CHILD ABUSE, TO AID AND ASSIST LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS IN EDUCATING AND REMEDIATING WHERE AND WHEN CHILD ABUSE OCCURS, AND TO DISTRIBUTE FUNDS IN THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS IN A NONDISCRIMINATORY FASHION BASED ON NEED AND/OR MERIT TO AN OPEN ENDED GROUP, RATHER THAN TO PRESELECTED INDIVIDUALS.

CONNECTICUT VIOLENCE INTERVENTION & PREVENTION, INC (CTVIP) IS A GROUP OF TRUSTED, TRAINED COMMUNITY MEMBERS THAT DISRUPT, PREVENT, AND STOP THE SPREAD OF VIOLENCE WHICH RESULTS IN TRAUMA THROUGH CRISIS INTERVENTION AND PROACTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE HIGHEST-RISK YOUTHS AND THE INSTITUTIONS THAT IMPACT THEIR LIVES IN THE GREATER NEW HAVEN AREA.

The goal of this organization is to operate law enforcement associations, advisory councils or other nonprofit community groups that provide advice and direction for police departments; auxiliaries or other community-based organizations that collect and disburse money in aid of injured police officers or in support of local law enforcement activities; and other nonprofit groups that have an interest in law enforcement issues.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate community-based residential facilities which allow adult and juvenile offenders with satisfactory behavior to transition back to the community during the last months of their sentences or which provide congregate living arrangements and supportive services for ex-offenders to help them successfully reenter the community and become self-sufficient. These facilities are known as work release centers, prerelease centers, rehabilitation centers and group homes for juvenile offenders or status offenders.

THIS INCLUDES PARTICIPATING IN CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION INITIATIVES, CHILD ABUSE TASK FORCES SUPPORTING SURVIVORS, AND CREATING ONLINE SAFETY RESOURCES FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES.
