These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

THE COST OF THE ATHLETIC TOURNAMENTS AND TEE SPONSORSHIPS WERE ALSO PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED. THE FEDERATION ALSO PROMOTES BETTER COMMUNITY RELATIONS BETWEEN THE PUBLIC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES BY SPONSORING TOURNAMENTS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT OF THE PUBLIC.
