THE BAY AREA SENIOR GAMES ARE A LEGACY OF THE 2009 SUMMER NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. THE GAMES PROMOTE HEALTHY ACTIVE LIFESTYLES FOR ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 50. WE AIM TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CONDITIONS FOR SENIORS WHO SEEK A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT ALONG WITH THE CAMARADERIE OF OTHER ATHLETES. WHILE REGISTRATION IS OPEN TO EVERYONE OVER 50 WE ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO EXERCISE REGULARLY PROPERLY PREPARE FOR COMPETITION AND FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE RULES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THEIR SPORT.
