MISSION:

SAN FRANCISCO HOOPS FOUNDATIONS PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE A SAFE, AFFORDABLE, AND EDUCATIONAL SPORTS FACILITY WHERE THE COMMUNITY CAN BENEFIT BY EXPANDING THE ACCESSIBILITY AND AFFORDABILITY TO ALL CITY RESIDENCES. OUR GOAL IS TO PROMOTE STRUCTURED INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM SPORTS TO EXPAND THE AVAILABILITY TO PEOPLE WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT. WE WILL OFFER AND PROMOTE LEAGUE PLAY, TOURNAMENTS, CLINICS, AS WELL AS ONE- ON-ONE EDUCATION.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in ice hockey, ice skating, alpine and cross-country skiing, sledding/tobogganing and other winter sports. Coaching; access to skating rinks, ski slopes or other facilities; sports equipment; and officials for competitions are generally included.

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

The goal of this organization is to develop, maintain and make available to the general public recreational areas which are equipped with athletic fields and courts, campgrounds, picnic areas and a variety of recreational trails such as bridle trails, hiking trails, off-the-road vehicle trails and snowmobile trails.

THE SEQUOIAS-SAN FRANCISCO RESIDENT ASSOCIATION (THE ASSOCIATION) IS AN ORGANIZATION MADE UP OF ALL RESIDENTS OF THE SEQUOIAS SAN FRANCISCO, A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY (CCRC) OWNED BY NORTHERN CALIFORNIA PRESBYTERIAN HOMES AND SERVICES (NCPHS), AN INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION. SINCE ITS INCEPTION, THE ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE PLEASURE, RECREATION AND OTHER NON-PROFITABLE PURPOSES FOR RESIDENTS OF THE CCRC. THE ASSOCIATION IS OPEN TO ALL RESIDENTS AND DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ANY PERSON BASED ON RACE, COLOR, RELIGION OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION.

RAISE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FUNDS FOR THE ANNUAL PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE FLOAT SUBMISSION FROM THE CITY OF TORRANCE.
